But thinking more into the situation, maybe it was the right choice. He lied to you, after all these years trusting eachother, love with honesty... If you can call your relationship as "full of love", you are doubting how much love there was.

His smoking habits, his gambling addiction,but specially the debt he put both of you in. That last one made you lose your mind; tired of him you bought a double barrel shotgun and killed him.
